Questions for discussion - Two kingdoms

Two kingdoms

Introduction

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" (NKJV)

Who is satan?
Genesis 3 seems to assume we are aware of his existence.
This shoddy figure still stalks his victims in disguise today.
His camouflage is so effective that many, even Christians, seem to doubt that he is a real being. This should not surprise us since he is an expert at transforming himself to appear as something else - 2 Corinthians 11:14.

Satan is a being that has form, shape and intelligence. Jesus made this clear.

John 10:9-10
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
NKJV

He is active in stealing from us the treasures of life.

Matt 13:19-20
19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
NKJV

He is the enemy of our souls who prowls about like a lion.

Matt 13:19-20
19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
NKJV

He is like a lion in character. Lions go for the easiest and weakest prey. They seek the weak isolated or ignorant animal and pounce when it is least expected.
